Because Lutherans are dutiful: we are charged each week at the end of worship to Go in Peace and Serve the Lord. Little did we know that when we last read these words as we exited the church down the steps under the ancient oak in the spring we would need to hold on to them for so long. Keep fast. Stay the course. Christ is with you. We are in this together. We are better together. We may be apart, but we are not alone.
