Because Lutherans love their neighbors (part 3): we participate in a multitude of activities to keep everyone safe and healthy. "Senior Social Club" might sound like it's just a fun group that likes to get together on occasion. That's only partially true. It is important for our overall mental health to be among people, share stories, and celebrate life communally. Emanuel's small group ministries do this while practicing the most current safety protocols. Big "THANK YOU" to chefs Ilene and Pat C. and Bill S. for providing delicious warm comfort food on a chilly day. Thanks to all the Senior Social participants for being flexible with dates and locations to best protect our neighbors we love. We are better together.
